GEORGETOWN — Police Chief David Sedgewick and Fire Chief Matthew McKay report that the Georgetown Police and Fire Departments responded after a delivery truck crashed into a building on Patriot Lane.
On Monday, Feb. 5, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Georgetown Police and Fire responded to 9 Patriot Lane for reports of an Amazon delivery truck that had crashed into the leasing office on the property.
Upon arrival crews observed the delivery truck sticking out of the building just next to the entrance.
The driver exited the truck before first responders arrived, and is cooperating with police.
The Building Inspector is on-scene to assess damage to the structure.
There were no reported injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Georgetown Police Department.
