Georgetown Fire Department Newsletter October 2016

GEORGETOWN – Chief Fred A. Mitchell Jr. is pleased to share the Georgetown Fire Department’s operations report for the month of October.

Throughout October, the Georgetown Fire Department responded to 159 incidents, including:

Fire: 2
Rescue and EMS: 44
Inspections: 16
Smoke detector/alarm system activation: 20

In October, the Georgetown Fire Department participated in its monthly training programs and conducted both fire and commercial code inspections. Additionally, firefighters completed their annual fitness assessments and participated in multiple Halloween events at schools and in town.
