Our “North Star” provides guiding principles and is our operational compass that helps us achieve our mission through rapid response to emergencies, requests for service, education as well as through prevention. We consider our department to be progressive and dynamic, using data and research to guide our decision-making and implementing change while adopting new technologies and best practices to achieve operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Finally, we are consistently striving to better ourselves, our department, and our community through our training and educational endeavors.
