All Georgetown Fire Department apparatus are equipped with BLS medical kits, and ANSI compliant vests for increased firefighter safety. All frontline pieces of apparatus are equipped with AED’s and all primary structural apparatus have their own thermal imaging cameras. These important technological advances are key components of both firefighter safety and the safety of the public that we serve.
2024 Chevrolet Tahoe, outfitted for incident command responses with a cabinet accessible from the rear with a dry-erase board and file cabinet, SCBA, various tools and equipment, two multi-band radios, a cross-band mobile repeater, and mobile audio recorder.Ladder 1 is a 2007 Ferrara 107′ HD Aerial Ladder. Based out of the Central Station it has seating for six firefighters. Engine 4 is a 2024 HME Silverfox based out of the Erie Station.New Georgetown Fire Ambulance 11. Boat 1 Boat 1 is a 15.5 ft inflatable boat powered by a 25HP Yamaha outboard. Engine 1 is a 2005 E-One Typhoon II based out of the Central Station that is set up for structural firefighting. E1 has seating for six firefighters, a 1500gpm pump and carries 750 gallons of water.Engine 2 Engine 2 is a 2020 KME Panther based out of the Central Station that is set up for structural firefighting. 2015 Ford “Fire Interceptor” AWD, outfitted for incident command responses with a cabinet accessible from rear with a dry erase board and multiple file cabinets, SCBA and various equipment. Primarily used for fire prevention and EMS responses.
