Chief Fred Mitchell regrets to announce the passing of Retired Georgetown Fire Chief Harold C. Roeder. Chief Roeder passed away on November 8, 2018 at the age of 77. Chief Roeder retired in 2004 after serving 44 years in the fire service, 36 for the Town of Georgetown. Visitation with the family will be held from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Conte-Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown with a service at the Funeral Home thereafter. Interment will follow at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
